Our Services in Singapore

• Pre-move consultation and survey.
• Experienced professional packing team will pack the items based on international moving standards.
• In accordance with the quotation, special Crating are provided for proposed items.
• We take necessary precautions to prevent goods from any kind of moisture and water contamination damage.
• Our moving consultants will coordinate with your building management authority.
• Our expert moving consultants will take care of all-important paperwork such as preparing transit inventory list, handling packing completion documents, managing export and outbound customs clearance documentation etc.
• The quotation includes all port or shipping line charges in Singapore and ocean freight charges to the destination port Provision of various sizes of cartons, tapes, bubble wrap, wrapping papers, hardboard and all other required International standard packing material.
• Our expert moving consultants will take care of all-important paperwork such as preparing transit inventory list, handling packing completion documents, managing export and outbound customs clearance documentation etc.

Our Services at Destination

• Import Documentation and Custom clearance including Destination port charges Transportation of the shipment from port to the residence/warehouse.
• Our services at client destination include safe delivery of belongings to client residence, placing of boxes in flat surface or placing cartons into respective rooms, and assembling of normal furniture’s like dining table beds etc. which does not require any highly-train.
• On the day of delivery, our crew will take care of cleaning debris and will return the empty container to the nearest port.
• The customer has to provide all import documentation for customs clearance prior to the arrival of the shipment at the port or in advance as per the requirement in each country.

Transit Insurance

• APAC Relocation can arrange transit insurance in accordance with the terms and conditions of transit insurance underwriters. If client report of damage to any goods during transit, we can assist them in claim settlement proceedings.
• All claim shall be reported within 30 days of delivery as per the delivery document date.
• Completed insurance form must be submitted by the client 3 days prior to the packing date.
• Minimum insurance premium will be SGD 150.Storage insurance extension is available at 0.40% per month after 90 free days.
• All claims will be subject to insurance underwriter’s terms and conditions. Apac Relocation has no liability for the claim procedure or claiming amounts. In case of non-insured shipment, APAC can behold liable for max S$ 100 per shipment.

Rates Exclude

• Dismantling and assembling of new or flat packed, IKEA or furniture/items which require a specialist. Wall mounting, electrical works, piano handling, valet service- unpacking of boxes and placing in cupboards, shelves etc.
• Non-refundable deposit to condo/building management authority.
• Delivery services on weekends, public holidays and Non –office hours.
• Stair carrying above 1st floor and use of use external elevator. Parking permit slot charges and shuttling services beyond 50 feet between container/truck parking location and the main entrance of the residence.
• Customs duty/tax, quarantine charges, X-ray/ Gamma Radiation scanning fee, examination fee, and any govt. charges if any at the destination.
• Port storage charges/container detention charges. These charges can be applicable in following casesLack of necessary documents, Non-Availability of the client for the delivery, and any delay in the release of shipment from customs due to holidays, technical issues in customs website and unexpected issues like port congestions, natural calamities, and strikes.
• Warehouse handling charges(in/out) other than indicated in the proposal. These charges are applicable only if storage is required by the client at origin/ destination.

Payment Terms

• The client is required to make full payment before we can start with the shipment.
• In case of warehouse/storage requirement, clients must pay 60% of the invoice prior to the packing including 3 months’ storage charges.
• Quote validity 30 days.
• Credit card payment will have additional transaction charge.

Introduction

APAC Relocation has developed this Privacy Policy out of respect for the privacy preferences and choices of our customers and prospects. We have established procedures to ensure that every reasonable effort is made to address your concerns. APAC Relocation provide services to corporations as well as individuals and their family members. In order to provide the contracted personal services, APAC Relocation needs to collect and process personal data.

This Privacy Policy describes APAC Relocation’s policies and practices regarding the manner in which we collect and process your personal data, and sets forth your privacy rights. We may from time to time update this Privacy Notice as we adopt new privacy policies.

How we collect and use (process) your personal information?

We collect personal information on our customers in order to provide relocation and relocation-related services to them. Also APAC Relocation acts as a data processor as directed by our corporate clients. APAC Relocation only collects personally identifiable information about individuals when such individuals specifically provide such information to us on a voluntary basis or while requesting information on APAC Relocation’s services. For example, an online service request requires the collection of personal data in order for us to be able to respond promptly and correctly to the service request.

APAC Relocation collects personal information about its customers and prospective customers. The personal information collected is limited to what is necessary to provide the services requested by the customer: first name, last name, employer name, home address, email address, phone number, biographical information, and in some cases passport details and financial information. We use this information specifically to provide the services requested by our customers. We do not sell personal information to anyone and only share the personal information with third parties who are directly assisting in delivering the requested services from APAC Relocation.

When and how we share information with others

Due to the nature of our business, we use qualified service partners to provide some of the services requested by our customers. Therefore, in order for those third parties to be able to provide the services, APAC Relocation must transfer your personal data to the service partner who has a need to know the details. We will not share more information with the third party than they need to know. Those third parties are contractually obliged to protect your data in a secure manner at all times. If you request APAC Relocation to provide immigration or cross-border services on your behalf, APAC Relocation may need to provide your personal information to those necessary and responsible government agencies in order to approve the paperwork.

Security of your information

To help protect the privacy of data and personally identifiable information you transmit through use of this site, we maintain physical, technical and administrative safeguards. We update and test our security technology on an ongoing basis. We restrict access to your personal data only to those employees who need to know that information to provide services to you. In addition, we train our employees about the importance of confidentiality and maintaining the privacy and security of your information. We will also take appropriate disciplinary measures to ensure that APAC Relocation’s staff protect personal data at all times.

Data storage and retention

Your personal data is stored by APAC Relocation on its servers, and on the servers of the cloud-based database management services APAC Relocation engages. Unless your contract or the law provides otherwise, APAC Relocation will not retain your data for longer than seven years.
