Before the Move

- Check for brochures from various movers and get multiple quotes to have a better informed decision.
- Ask for client testimonies, company reviews or recommendations from friends/ neighbours.
- Check for the kind of insurances your mover is offering.
- Ask your mover if they have the required licenses and accreditations.
- Ask if your mover will provide you damage cover.
- Check for dispute settlement programs offered.
- Check when & how your mover will arrange for pick-up & delivery.
- Ask if you will be provided a designated contact throughout your move.
Moving Day

- Make sure you are present at the location. Co-ordinate with the moving crew and be present at the location until all the work is finished.
- Check your inventory list and ensure the goods are in proper condition.
- Read carefully all kinds of documents, for instance inventory estimate, bills, etc. before you sign them.
- Keep the bills safe with you until your moving process is complete and claims (if any) are settled.
- Before the packing crew leaves make sure you do a recce of the premises to see if anything has been left behind.
- Exchange contact numbers with the crew so that you can contact them when required.
Delivery Day
- Be available at the move destination. Co-ordinate with the delivery crew and give them adequate directions.
- Pay the bills, according to the agreement after the unloading is completed.
- Supervise unloading and unpacking of all your goods.
- Check the inventory list and note the items which are damaged (if any).
